SSA History

Sunflower Soccer began in 1983 with a handful of teams.  Today SSA has participants from age 4 through 14 playing on 170 teams.  

SSA Celebrates 25 years of soccer for the youth of Topeka
On October 11, 2008 SSA held a 25th Anniversary Celebration.  The day included inflatables, hayrack rides, soccer skill competitions and a mule soccer match.  Thank you to all the sponsors who assisted in making the day a success.  

Facilities
 
Sunflower Soccer boasts 11 fullsize fields that may be split into smaller fields.  The complex is located in the Kansas River floodplain off of US Hwy 75 and Lower Silver Lake/NW 17th St.  

Great care is given to the fields and it is often heard that they are "some of the best in Northeast Kansas."
