Opportunities for short term service (Scouts, Church, etc.) and longer term projects are available.
Coaching
SSA relies on volunteer coaches for all the recreational teams. If you are interested in coaching, please review and complete this form.
Governor's Cup
Tournament Preparation
Medal assembly - attach custom designed ribbons to custom designed medals. Medals may be taken home to assemble and returned when finished.
Tournament pins - count and sort tournament pins for coaches' packets. This is another activitiy that may be completed at home. Pins normally arrive 2 weeks prior to the tournament.
Coach Packets - assemble coach packets with various coupons and 'goodies.' May be completed at the SSA office or supplies may be brought to you.
Registration
Registration is held the Friday before the tournament at the Holiday Inn Holidome from 6-8pm. Please arrive at 5:00pm for dinner. Assist in checking medical release forms, player cards and the official rosters. Children may assist if accompanied by an adult.
Referee Lunch Preparation
Assist in packing sandwiches, cookies and chips in lunch bags for referees and volunteers. Meet at the SSA office at 10:15am on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Total time - 1 hour.
